I have come to figure out that my computer is one of those computers that will not load firmware tool after dumping the drive. What happens is it reads all the banks than says ok and freezes. The dump is a good dump eventhough the program freezes. and the cfw(created firmware)doesnt have my key in it.
I have tried this but only to the point of it saving on my usb drive....not flashing
opened firmware tool v4.6 in windows.
load in the orginial firmware,
copy the key,
load in the created firmware paste the key then press the replace key button.
then in the backup folder open the cfw file paste the key and press the replace key.
this I know saves your key in the created firmware. I closed everything and opened firmware 4.6 again loaded the created firmware and my key was in it.
now my question is
can you continue back to your usb drive type fben 1234567 12345 and pick up where you left off.. Will this be a good flash???????
If not i know how to use firmware creator but it seems harder to do. you have to rename your created firmware and place it in the right spot. then boot usb use the rben command this is how I flashed my benq. just seems harder
Question about benq flashing
Re: Question about benq flashing
Yes, You should be able to open your original firmware with firmware toolbox and copy the good key, then open the hacked firmware and replace the 7's with the good key and flash it. It should work like it's supposed to after that.
