Re: iprep problems
ok thank you i got it to work but now i cant get my pc to but off usb thunb drive wont reed it dont know why could you help me here thanks
Re: iprep problems
you will have to mess around in your bios to get the setting right for booting from a usb flash.
the one thing i can say is to have a boot flash in a usb slot when you boot to the bios.
if your pc will boot from a usb it should list it then.

Re: iprep problems
Go back into your bios and check that legacy usb devices are enabled (though some pc work with it disabled) Might also be worth reformatting the stick in iprep and make sure the make bootable is ticked. What size usb stick are you using as anything over 2 gb doesn't tend to work?

Re: iprep problems
Its a 64mb stick but i will check the bios for lagecy device looks like iprep wrote files to the thumb drive tho.I did check if legacy support is on and its on so i dont know now?

Re: iprep problems
Try a different stick to see if it solves the problem. Also some pc's don't boot from FAT32 (mine doesn't) So i had to format the stick in FAT16 with HPformat tool and make bootable then copy over the iprep files. An indicator of this is if it boots to a black screen with a flashing cursor and nothing else or you get a message saying invalid boot device please press any key to continue.
You can use an sd card in a reader or a psp in usb mode if you don't have another usb stick kicking about if its any good to you.

Re: iprep problems
I will consider your advice on this because it makes sence to use the psp flash drive maybe it will work with it better for booting i could try this but how do i use iprep to make boot usb for psp?

Re: iprep problems
Attach the psb with the standard usb cable which came with it (if you dont have one digital camera usb leads tend to be the same) go to the usb connect setting on the psp and click X. Then just select it in iprep and you're good to go.
