always have the dvd drive in the console before you turn it on.
always have the fan wind tunnel in the console before you turn it on.

that was neve going to work man
you do the penny trick on the bottom of the mobo they push presser on the chip and sometimes it will work.
the xclamp may fix it also.

Ok i just x clamped it, and did the Bake method and every thing i think works im still w8ting for it to cool but when i turned it on to bake it worked so i hope for the best. Sorry RHPG but the tutorial for xclamp you guys offer isnt really efficient, i used http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=594487 and downloaded the tutorial, it had no drilling because everything fits exactly, i kind of modified the tutorial, to make it quicker and more efficient. But like i said, its still cooling and hoping it works. It took me 2hrs because i cleaned all the chips with Q tips and Alcohol until i can see my self

the xclamp is a fix that you can only hope to get a few months out of it.

no the xclamp is not know to be a long lasting fix.
maybe 6 month or so at the best i would say
