Backing up Alone in the Dark

I am having one helluva time backing up this game. I've tried S360X and XBC both with no success. I'm not sure what else I can try. I'm currently extracting one piece at a time. First the SS.bin, the the dmi, etc etc. Last but not least the game.iso. I figure I can always inject those other bins into the final iso. and then recheck with abgx 1.0.

what game is it, what happens when u try to back it up?

try cleaning the disc

any other info?

Game: Alone in the Dark (See Title of Post)
Errors: All dumping programs and my PC freeze when trying to extract the ss file when trying to do the whole disc at once.
Successes: When I try to dump each piece individually it seems to work fine. I'll hopefully have a successful dump in about 12 min.
Equipment: SH-D163B Samsung with Kreon 1.0. Sata.
Programs: S360X and XBC both have same issues.

hmmm.... what version XBC do u have?
if you have anything but 2.8, get 2.8.

and i thought the title was like, "im alone in trying to back it up.." hehe


well.. you have the nforce right? 4? ok

after you get it all one piece at a time.
then clean the crap out of it Windex
if its not your game or one you dont care about

that game will dump with xbc v2.8

Found the problem, there's a small crack near the center of the disk.
