Ok guys now im having problems I have my key and everything. I have my orig. fw in source and ix151-79-4C30 in target then I spoof source to target everything is going great. Now the problem is when im trying to flash the iXtreme under the hitachi tab, I have everything set up right and I click flash hacked f/w. It ask me to save my orig. fw again when I do it gives me the error, "The Drive Key was Not Found, f/w maybe corrupt!". Can anyone give me any info on what maybe going on, or know away around this to flash the drive... :oops:

Did you put it into mode b? Did you disable your via card?

I know its for a 78 but its similar to a 79...

Yep that's been the video im going by. I have no problem getting the orig. firmware the problem comes when flashing it.

With the Hits, you don't need to work outside of the HitachiGDR3120 Tab.
You can, but you don't need to if you're not spoofing. (you should also be fairly experienced in flashing)

You may have spoofed a bogus key.
Just speculation

Ok guy im hooked up an older PC of mine that had an on board sata and is running windows XP. Did the same steps as before and magic it works. JungleFlasher and Vista hate each other so bad. Now I find out via isn't really too good to flash hits. Oh well another problem solved, thanks for the info guys. Now I can get back to Resident Evil 5! :twisted:
