I've got an m3 simply and it works fine. Is there something the card won't do that prompted you to ask about arm7?

I don’t know about the support the M3 team gives but if they are still releasing updates with the R4 dead (Since the M3 was the R4 with a different sticker) then you probably wont need to patch games to run unless they are new releases, in that case you will have either w8 or patch the Rom yourself
