Hitachi 47 and Jungle Flasher

I have an Hitachi 47 drive that was flashed with ix1.4 i want to upgrade it to ix 1.51 using jungle flasher, i can get it into mode b as follows;

Drive, answers normal Windows Inquiry 12 0 0 0 24 0
0000: 05 80 00 32 5B 00 00 00 - 48 4C 2D 44 54 2D 53 54 ...2[...HL-DT-ST
0010: 44 56 44 2D 52 4F 4D 20 - 47 44 52 33 31 32 30 4C DVD-ROM GDR3120L
0020: 30 30 34 37 0047

Mode-B Done!

i no i need to restore to stock first and am following CoFree's video but every time i click "restore to stock" the following message appears;

Restoring Stock f/w to Hitachi 0046/0047 by Mode Select Method over Port IO
UnLocked!
Dumping Flash:..................Upload buffer failed

i have been gettin the exact same error, id also like to know how to resolve it!

I know it doesn't actually solve your problem but you could use toolbox to flash back to stock if jungleflashers acting itself.

I had this problem with a friends Hit46 that I just flashed.

If you can get it to detect the drive over Win API, it should dump/restore fine.

Dont think it wants to do that either, just tried it and its still fails :cry:
