other way for 1.5 to 1.51?

Hi Guys once again a great tutorial on how to flash a LiteOn 1.5 to 1.51

Just a quick question. I still have my key, identify, inquiry and dummy.bin from flashing the 1.5.
Can' i just do this:
Open JungleFlasher 0.1.51
go to tab "Firmware Tool 32"
press "Load Source Firmware"
navigate to dummy.bin
press "Open Target Firmware" or use auto function
press "Save to File"
and continu with "MTK Flash 32" tab erase and write?
(btw. do we have to erase or just precaution?)

now open the target firmware the v1.51
once that is in
then spoof to target.

Yeah thats how i ment it. So it does work like this. Very good one step less to make a mistake .
Do you think that it is obligatory to erase the old fw or just to be one the safe side??
