so i have been flashing 360's and backing up games for about a year now. i kinda walked away from it in november and got all caught up with the new advances in modding simplicity just to be thrown for a loop with the games..
i got HAWX for my birthday, went to back it up and it failed miserably! pfi, video, ixtreme.. u name it, it bombed!
so i hit the board and theres alot of talk about "wave 3" and "agbx for stealth checks" ...
clearly i've missed a whole lot in my absence..
could some1 bring this poor dude outta the stone age of point me in the right direction please?
thanx
ok..time out.. did i miss something here????

Hawx has a third wave (as you have said) also mbl2k9, which requires you to update your firmware to the latest ixtreme 1.51 to play it and you will need the latest abgx v1 to check it. There ya go..easy.

Just to expand on dale's response:
M$ wants all xbox's to have the NXE, so they began including the dashboard update in the game. The update files are stored in the partition where the video files would normally be. The video files are now in a third partition (on the new 'third wave' games). iXtreme has protection feature that checked the second partition for valid media, and with these games there is no media in that partition, so you cannot play it with 1.5 (Even originals do not work)
So 1.51 was released which basically removed this protection feature... ABGXY has been updated and I works with these games now... Good thing this was all released so early because soon enough M$ will begin putting the update on all games...

ok.. so is that why xbc failed the steath check?
and if so.. does that mean that i need to use the other program for all my backing up or just the checkin?
and r u saying that i shouldnt even play my original without the 1.51?
i seem to have more questions than answers..
lol

Ok, on all iXtreme versions below 1.51 wave3 games will not play, backups or originals
Use ABGX360 V1.00
Download Link
And as for XBC not dumping the game, It should have backed up with v2.8, but other than that version I don't know, use v2.8 from now on.
