Post by 3Tupac »

Ok, So im been posting on the forums and asking people but still cant solve my promblem so I decided to make a video. Im trying to flash my hitachi 59 to a brand new Samsung Ms28.

XXXXXXXXXXX VIDEOLINK XXXXXXXXXXXXX

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDb-vbwdVSQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Reasons Why i want to do it

1. Hitachi sucks and can't read backup do to its poor laser

2 Samsung, Benq, and Lite On can read cheaper media saving me lots of money because dl's are very exprensinse in Canada

My hardware, software, OS,etc .....

Windows Xp Service pack 2
Dell Optiplex 210L
PCI Sata Card

ok
if you are wanting to put a samsung drive in your hit console
then you are spoofing a samsung drive in a hit console. ;)
what that is doing is putting a small amount of code in the samsung firmware that will report to the console(that is hit) that it is a hit drive even though it is a samsung.

ok after watching your vid

that firmware you nade and put on your besktop.
rename that to samcfw.bin

now make a iprep boot flash
in the backup folder make 2 folders the first name 1234567
the 2nd name 12345
in that 2nd folder put that file you save and renamed samcfw.bin

boot on to the iprep flash boot usb
hook up your samsune dvd drive
then run the fsam 12343567 12345
and do what it say on the screen
you can look at the flash part of this video it should help
