Re: ixtreme 1.5.1 with BENQ Help!!
Ck3 mode B is indicated by a red Led (modeB on) and a blue Led when it's off.

If you have your OFW from before, you can miss a few steps out....
Open JF, load your ofw as source, then load benq 1.51 as target. Clicke spoof spurce to target, then click save to file. That's you cfw done....
Now click MTKflash32 tab. You need the drive half open/closed to get the unlock to work. With a CK3, this is just a case, of opening the drive, clicking eject to close the drive, then turning it off before it fully closes. Set the drive to halfway then turn it back off... now try the unlock. If this is successful, the drive will display Vendor Mode in the properties pane.
If you're sure you have a good key in you firmware, just hit write, and that's about it...

I think i have sussed this out.. Maybe it is because I am running VISTA 64BIT? Maybe the portIO32 is not working because I have 64bit VISTA..
I just remembered under my bed I had a very old basic pc.. I am going to hook it up .. see if I have xp and then put the pci card inside and try to flash it with that machine see what happens.. any other suggestions?
Thanks

Please also see some of the screenshots of the problems I am having.. please help.. I have been trying this for days now.. thanks.

Re: ixtreme 1.5.1 with BENQ Help!!
Best way would be to try it again on your old pc running xp. Failing that try the Via card in another pci slot as it might be conflicting with something (go into device manager and check it) Are you using the ck3 with the blue led showing (mode b off)

Re: ixtreme 1.5.1 with BENQ Help!!
Blue for all drives except Hitachi (not the 78 or 79's though)
Blue = ModeB off
Red = ModeB on
Blue = ModeB off
Red = ModeB on

I have a BenQ and I have a CK3 Pro so what should my light be on Red or Blue? and also at what stage shall I put the CK3 whilst windows is starting or after?dalecheesy wrote:Blue for all drives except Hitachi (not the 78 or 79's though)

Hmmm I get it now.. my light should be showing Blue as I have the Benq.. that is what I have been doing.. I have taken out my sound card from the PCI slot to see if there were any conflicts and change the via card onto another pci slot just to see what happens.. the card is detected and fine in windows .. but in jungleflasher and in iprep the drive is "not detected"? why is this..? this isreally driving me nutts.. I have been trying for days now and still can not get it right .. please can someone guide me thanks:)

I tested them and they worked fine. So I hope everything is cool.
Even still it's not like I charged them or anything, so I figure they can't complain.
Re: ixtreme 1.5.1 with BENQ Help!!
lite on can be done with mode b on, but every other drive needs to be done with the light on blue (except older hitachi's of course)...
