Flash MS28 0800 FW in JF?

Is this possible?

If so, can you do a small guide?

I watched the cofree's video for doing it in iPrep, but I would prefer to do it in JF if I can. Thanks.

You can definitely do this. It's identical to flashing the iXtreme firmwares. Just read your drive as normal, when JF ask you to auto load the iXtreme fw click no. On the Firmware Tool 32 Tab click "Open Target Firmware" and load your 0800 firmware. Go ahead and spoof source to target then go back to the MTK Flash 32 tab. Click write and your done. Where would I find the 0800 FW though? Dont seem to see it on xbins.

0800 Mode for Samsung and BenQ drives is a special mode that enables the drive to dump Xbox 360 games. You can go to Xbins > Xbox 360 > Firmware > Hacked Firmware > Choose the drive that you have(either BenQ or Samsung TS-H943), and if in BenQ hit old and you will come across BenQ0800.bin Firmware. If going to Samsung folder, go to old and go to Toshiba-Samsung TS-H943> old> Xtreme_package-toshiba_samsung.rar. The Samsung0800 FW is in there.

I am a little worried about this xbox...

Edit: Well it doesnt matter now apperently I fried the drive. Only DVD's played, so I was fooling around in JF, i get e65 if I try to use the xbox now.

doa restore with the orig firmware
im not sure that drive is bricked man.
e65 is a firmware & key trouble.

I have no idea how to restore. I need to do it through iprep, the drive locks my comp when I power it on...
Every time I try to load ixtreme FW in iprep, it tells me not valid. I dont know what f'in FW it wants. I downloaded 1.51 and 1.4 off xbins, none of which work...

(We can just deal with this in the other thread no need to have like 3 going all about the same thing...)
