Lite-on Drive flash with Jungle Flasher 43 on USB

Post by Cybertech »

Hi Guys
I have watched the video on using JF 43 with USB hook up. When I launch JF it does not see the lite-on in the dvdkey32 tab. gone through all IO ports nothing, reload portIO32,and checked ok in device manager.Com 3 shows prolific usb to serial comm.Non ide ports checked with a tick.
I have switch the drive on and off, rebooted the pc , ejected the drive several times, drive will still not be detected in I/O port properties. I going wrong some ware but not sure, Help again please.
Kind Regards
Chris

Mke sure your stat cable is hooked up and your serial or usb cable. Also make sure before your start jungleflasher to power on the drive, eject the tray, power it off, close the tray half way, then power it back on. Then open up jungleflasher.

Hi Didn't think you had to have the sata connected if using usb, now connected sata to my motherboard, and JF does now see the drive, under I/O port oxF900 com 3 working too, put probe in the R707 hole and pressed get key, dots....... started to run then came up with sending key request to I/O port OxF900 and com 3 more....... dots....then says Serial data is bad, DVDkey files extraction aborted!
I have adjusted the drive tray and still get the same message
I know the drive is stock/ firmware, because it plays games in my xbox.

you are not on the right port in jungle would be my guess
and the computer is not seeing the drive.

you have to have 3 things hooked up
power
sata (the flash goes in the sata)
usb or rs232 cable (the files come out this)
