Is the Intel D945GCL MotherBoard's chipset compatible?

Id like to know if this motherboard's chipset will work to flash a drive? Im gonna try and flash a BenQ drive

Probably not. Onboard satas rarely work. You best bet is to get one of the cards mentioned here.

You will not get much support here for an onboard sata because it is generally a waste of time to even mess with it. You can get one of these cards for as little as 12 bucks and save yourself gobs of headache.

I managed to flash a Benq onboard, but it was a VIA 8327, I guess thats why it worked...
