Hmmm last shot. Try prepping your iprep stick again then typing A: in first (if the commands D: as you're booting with a cd) and see if it changes to the A:\ prompt, which would be strange as ms-dos normally uses the A: prompt exclusively for floppy drives but it can't hurt to try.

It'll just be down to your bios. What model is it as there may well be a bios update available for it to enable usb booting?

Depending on the model number you should be able to update it through a utility called ASUS EZ Flash. Check the Asus website with your model number and see if its compatible. Its also worth noting down your bios version when the pc starts up and checking to see what the latest one offers.

Just managed to download the manual for your mb. According to it you are supposed to set first device to removable (with your usb already attached) then go to the removable tab and make sure its selected? Save then reboot.

Pm'd you. Change the plug and play os to "on". Also if you have another usb stick (or a psp in Usb mode) format it and make bootable with iprep and see if it shows up in the bios under removable devices as thats the sticking point.

If the worst comes to the worst you can probably pick up a floppy drive for next to nothing and use that. Failing that you could try Jungleflasher. I've used it quite a lot (before the iprep fix) and so far it's been great (although i have a problem with it and Hitachis but thats no biggie)

Don't know if this site has a donation provision. You'll only need one floppy. When you start the iprep program just select the A: drive and it formats it and puts the files on it (like it did with the usb. I think you may need to delete somethings off it to make space for the dump. It takes quite a bit of time for it to dump to the floppy as opposed to the usb.

Edit: you could also try googling "360 Modification Disc v1.52" and giving it a go. It works similar to iprep but from a disc. (i've never used it so you might have to get feedback from some of the guys)
