Dosflasher help needed.

So JF froze on erasing a liteon drive, i figured i'd use your great tutorial. But im sort of lost at the part where it says to copy over all the "dos" stuff to the usb drive that has been done with iprep. Im not exactly sure what you mean by dos stuff, what files do i need? And where could i possibly get them? I have my key/inquiry/identify files and 1.51 FW. But not sure what other files i need besides dos flasher. I know this sounds stupid but i would love to unbrick my drive Thanks for all your help.

if you have your dummy file
then you should not build your own dummy
use the one that was made first.

well you can find the dos stuff im talking about in the ix v1.5.its not in the new v1.51 firmware you have to get the older v1.5 firmware.
you can get it from xbins.
you will copy in all the stuff in the dos folder like the video

I rebuild the dummy file because it was missing serial data from the pcb/laser and cover. So i cannot use 1.51? or do i just need the dos files from 1.5 and go ahead with my hacked 1.51 firmware? Sorry for being a pain but this is my first time with a liteon drive.

you will have to recover it with the v1.5 firmware
then after that update it to the v1.51

I see, what do you suggest i use to update from 1.5 to 1.51?

I prefer iprep but as long as you remove the via drivers you can use jungleflasher. Down to personal choice.
