I have dumped 2 games from the disk with my kreon drive via XBC 2.8...
I followed cofree's tut, for the settings, and dumped my games... Then I go into abgx360, and check everything passes except it says whatever.ini no matches found verification failed, xe/ss combination doesnt match or something like that...
I am connected to the internet, and my firewall asks if I want to allow it to connect to the internet, I click yes... So why does it always say verification failed? Is it safe? I would assume so since its ripped right off the disk.

What game are you talking about ? Most times it takes some time for the database to be updated for new games (in Abgx). If you tell me the game I most likely have done it and we can compare. Hope this helps.

I did halo wars, and GTA IV. Resident evil passed though...
Halo Wars and GTA IV both failed verification because the x.ini wasnt in the database...

Re: Why the hell does verification always fail?
see that is my biggest problem with all the on-line check
i dont see how halo wars and gta4 is not in there.
if games like that are not there
how good and up to date can it be.

I see them both in there. You sure you're using 1.0.1? Why are you trying to verify your own dumps? No two rips will likely be the same.

I would ordinarily agree with you on that cyantific, but in this case, there wouldn't be any point in an online database what so ever would there?

Yea man make sure your firewall is letting it go through, and that if you tried to check a game while DB was offline it probably downloaded a wrong .ini and it will keep telling you it is not verified or something of that sort. It happened to me and all you need to do is delete that .ini from the install directory and try to check again.

Re: Why the hell does verification always fail?
I was using it to check my dumps to make sure I did them right etc...
Those 2 games didnt pass, but then I did resident evil, and it passed. I dont ever plan on downloading games and burning... So I guess I dont really need ABGX...
Off Topic:
1 weird thing is I had some HP DVD+R DL (Memorex) I burnt gta IV (as a test) and I could tell it was a bad burn and the disks wouldnt work because the game would crash and be laggy... I could hear my drive working hard to read the game too...
So I bought 20 verbatims, and burned halo wars and resident evil... RE didnt work, bad burn I guess. So I said hey well I have 1 more HP DVD left may aswell try to burn again, so I did and that dvd works perfectly...
