i still have a few people to shop for but i dont get paid till tomorrow night and i just have to get all of them gift cards i bought all the actual gifts a couple weeks ago on ebay. 5 movies and 2 cd's was like $40 for all of them. brand new too.

Well since my computer pooped out how can I use my DVD drives with my laptop?

you cant flash with a laptop as far as i know.

the backing up is not a problem.i do that on my laptop running vista all the time.
you need to put your sh-d162c dvd drive in a usb enclosure.
it hooks to a usb and will dump fine with xbc.as long as your dvd burner in the laptop will burn DL you should be good to go.
