Hey whats up everyone...Im trying to flash my 79 drive im using the new jf 1.55b i get the drive to mode b and do the 79 unlock when i try to Flash ixtreme it fails im using a VIA 6421 SATA Card and using port io when i try flashing threw win api it just freezes my pc i know hitachi's are known for these types a probs but if anyone has any suggestions i will be willing to try anything that could help thanxs for looking....

I use an old e-machine with an onboard sata card for Hit's....since setting up this $50.00(US) beauty with fresh xp and JF it works like a dream. I know some people have reported problems with onboard sata but, just know that it is possible and when working it works flawlessly.

ok guys i finally got it to work..i was using the xbox 360 to power the drive but since i was having probs i ordered the XECUTER CK3 PRO and it came with a shorter SATA cable then the one i was using i used JF 1.55B and flashed my drive in less then 5 mins...im not sure exactly what made it work if it was powering it up threw the CK3 PRO or the shorter SATA cable all i know is that it worked
