flashing an xbox

hi- im assuming i need the ck3 and probe to extract the key, identify and inquiry files from a brand new unflashed xbox 360.......before i can upgrade to the new 1.51?.........is that correct?........ta

yes, you need CK3 and probe to extract the key before you flash 1.51

well you need a ck3
but
if you can solder then you can solder the r707 point and use jungle flasher and you
wont need a probe.
