Ive done this back in the day a bit.
All you need to do is download dsdb fixer and it will show you pictures of where the keys are on the dvd drive. Very simple really.
hxxp://www.thirdeye-designs.com/files/DSDBFixer.zip" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (change xx with tt in browser)
HOW TO USE!
1. Download program above and open it. (you need .netframework 2.0)
2. Open Dummy file.
3. Click the analyze button.
4. Find number you are missing. (If it was older jungle flasher you used probably missing the opt and pcb serial.)
5. Add it to the picture of it and patch.
6. Analyze again to make sure dummy is perfect.
7. Save Dummy file and your done!
8. Flash new dummy to xbox.
If you want cofree host this program and switch out for my host. Its on my website server now.

@shwaggy
Don't take offense, but you are new to this site, and most people don't like to download files from untrusted sources.
Also, there is absolutely no need for that program.
If you need to rebuild serial data
Open JungleFlasher
Load Dummy.bin as source
Click advanced view
Click Drive Serial
Double Click in the window
Enter Serial #s from your drive
There you go

I have converted the file to PDF now guys,
Sorry about the inconvienience, but the only computer that I had access to last night only had Open office on it
It seems to have converted ok using adobe acrobat.
@DirtySkunk
You are right man! Most people would rather use JungleFlasher because that is the program that they are using to flash their drive anyway. And after all the whole idea of JungleFlasher is to have an all In one solution to flashing 360 drives.
It is really not that hard to do, (once you are careful lifting the circut board on the drive)
But different people have different levels of confidence doing this sort of thing and if a guide helps some people then its worth sticking up.
@shwaggy
If you have a different way of doing it then thats good for you man.
It can never hurt to have more options and JungleFlasher is not for everyone so im sure some people will find your method useful too.

Re: Problem upgrading liteon using JF 1.51
Which thread is this? sorry for hijackingghost.x74 wrote:OK, I have found the PCB numbers and rebuilt the missing serial information and flashed my drive.
The missing information (in my case) was the laser barcode number and the 2 pcb numbers.
The laser number can be found on a small sticker beside the laser when you open your Liteon drive.
The PCB numbers are a little bit trickier. They can be found on a sticker located underneath the small PCB inside the Liteon drive. You need to remove 2 small screws on the board to get to it. The update serial applet in jungleflasher actually shows a little black and white icon beside the numbers that its looking for. These icons match the icons on the stickers that you are looking for (so that you dont get the wrong number)
Once you have got these numbers manually type them into the boxes and click OK.
Now jungleflasher will create a file called dummy_fixed.bin
From here on in the process is the exact same...........load your target fw and spoof source to target and erase then write
By the way since I uninstalled my via drivers and just used portIO as shown in the other thread,,, jungleflasher didnt lock up![]()

Re: Problem upgrading liteon using JF 1.51
Sorry man, thought that said 2009.
Regardless of that, all serial repair can be accomplished using JF.
I think it's more important for people to know how to fix it using Jungleflasher.
I meant absolutely no disrespect man.
