Help plz with Dosflash I used Iprep 101

Hi, first thing I made its used Command "r" to create my backup (dosflash r **** 1 a0 1 4 c:\backup.bin 0 all work nice and I made my backup with none error I think, but I have one problem when I use Command "w" all the bank 1,2,3 all ok but he say in finish 696 errors ocurred!! this with iXtreme 151 and when I tryed to back with my backup.bin I get 48 errors, and now I have one Light red, Any sugestions my friend? and My XBOX use Benq, ahh Another question, if anyone dont know how to solve this problem, how I can back my Xbox-360 to work?? because my backup its giving error and i just have the Key DVD.bin here

which drive u using because I would recommend a diff program for diff things for simplicity

I Used ixtreme 1.41 in my BENQ, and I used Iprep 101

You need to check the back.bin that you made with either Jungleflasher or Firmware Toolboxto ensure that you have a good dump....

The firmware contains a key that your motherboard uses to authenticate (and play games), if the dump you have doesn't have a unique key (not all 0000000000's or FFFFFFFFFFf's for example) then you have a DVD player... Did you check this before you flashed, or did you just go straight to the write??

What made you use Dosflash like that?? If you were using Iprep, you wouldn't have had to enter the switches like that...

First I used Jungflasher, but when i try to write give verify failed and then now I try to use again, but when I click in Benq unlock I in vendor Appers No Drive Detect, so then I tryed to go in Dosflash , now that you say I used Firmware toolbox version 4.8 and appear my Key D93D2A****************** (I dont know if I can post my key

From the looks of that you have a good key, so make sure you keep a couple of copies of that firmware. Email it to yourself, put it on CD, do whatever to make sure you have a copy away from your pc...

I would give Dosflash32 (version 1.7) a go to see if that picks the drive up. The benq can be flashed (and detected) with an empty flash chip, but I'm not sure about erasing with a corrupt or incomplete firmware. Make sure you use the same port as what you did the dump on, as you know the IO adress for it....

If you can't get the drive to show, then all is not lost. It appears you have a valid key, so you'll be able to replace the drive with another. Ideally, you want to get hold of another benq, but spoofing has become easier to do with the firmware tab in Jungleflasher.

If you're in the UK, I'm more than happy to look at the drive for you....
