Update spoofed Samsung from BenQ

Hi Everyone.

I want to flash a friends Samsung ms28. The original drive was a BenQ and he got it done in a shop. Trouble is that they wrecked the BenQ. So now i have only the Samsung (i think with ix 1.4) and no orig.bin.

How should i update to ix 1.51??

If the sammy has already been spoofed with the Benq serial then you can proceed as normal and flash it as you would a virgin drive,if not then you would need to dump the OFW from the Benq first and then spoof that into the sammy ixtreme 1.51 firmware and flash it with that.

Trouble is that they wrecked the BenQ

well if you dont have the key from that benq then its game over.there is no way to get a dvd drive working in that console without the dvd drive key.
if you can get a dump of the benq with a good key then you should be able to save the console.

as long as that samsung is working now in the console then

run iprep 8.8.build it with the new v1.51.you will need to update the def file in iprep for it to load the v1.51 firmware.
get the dump
if it ask do you want to spoof to benq when firmtool runs say yes.
then as long as you have a good key flash it in

if not take the dump,opem jungle flasher
source firmware would be the dump you just got
target would be the new v1.51 firmware and click spoof to target
then click save file
save that file as samcfw.bin
now put that in the backup>1234567>12345 folder
boot back on the flash
now flash like normal.
