liteon flash problem

Sup,guys im trying to flash my liteon using iprep 8.8 when i go to get the key/dump i get this error message "ERROR:FILE BACKUPS\1234567\12345 DUMMY.BIN DOES NOT EXIST!" im using a VIA 6421 SATA Card and a CK3 Pro with Probe ive also tried JF 1.55b and i still get an error message when i try to get key/dump just cant remember exactly what it says... if any one has any suggestions or know what it is im doing wrong PLEASE!!! let me know thanks ahead of time and thanks for looking...

first time flash....and the error im getting from JF 1.55B is "***WARNING*** SERIAL DATA IS BAD"

You'll have to re-dump the drive. Sometimes several dumps will be required before it will give you the serial data. If you can't get the serial data, you'll have to manually fix it with jungleflasher. There is a tutorial on here that shows how to do that. Just look in the tutorials section to find it. I'll edit my post and put the link in here when I find it myself.

ok i got all the numbers i needed but i cant get the screen where you manually type in the missing serial information to come up i clicked on ADVANCED VIEW then DRIVE SERIAL panel then i try and double click the window and nothing happens

Make sure your using the latest version of jungleflasher 1.55B and it should let you add the serial data by double clicking on where the data should be on the serial tab under the source section.

still nothing... i noticed when i look under dvdkey32 tab all the drives info is their but under the firmwaretool32 tab none of the info for the drive is their could that be why the window is not poppin up???

ok guys and girls (if any out there lol)...i got it to work i just used a older version of JF .43 and flew threw it wit no probs...thanks SADALIUS for suggesting that i do that it prolly would of took me a while before i did that ya saved me alot of time and headache lol

The .43 version won't tell you that the serial data is missing or not. I would at least check it with the new version of jungleflasher to see if the serial data got put in or not. If not, load your dummy.bin file in the new jungleflasher as the source and put the serial data in manually and reflash it.

ok checked it out on the new JF 1.55B and all the drives serial info was there thanks again sadalius ...
