Trouble backing up a game

I have backed up a few games now and havd had no problems. I am using XBC. When i try to back up mass effect, im not getting a iso file, just a Image file. Any ideas why this is happening? Ive only been doing this for a day so please bare with me lol.

Well i guess i actually wasnt getting the dvd file. But i got it this time around. Then only thing i did different is i started xbc then put in the game. Before i put in the game first. I dont know if this was the fix or not lol, but it does say in the tut to put the game in after you start the program.

You know, I don'[t think I have ever tried ripping a game before running XBCr so I don't know if that was the fix or not. Hopefully, you won't have any more trouble though.
