Rules out a duff burner then. Nah nearly all new dl burners are ok. The only thing i do is cancel off any running programs when dumping and burning and i don't start any new ones up till its finished. Could be your 360 laser wearing out if its an old 'un. Does it still play other backups fine just not the 2 you've been trying to burn off?

Have you ran the images through abgx to check them?

yeah it plays other back ups just not this one and it still plays originals fine. what is that? some kind of software to check the iso?

Disable the writes bit on the first page and just check the iso with it and it will tell you if it fails on anything.

Finally, it was the GOW2 iso, binned it, tried silent hill again there on imgburn and it plays, this is my first 10 blank dvds so i have it figured out by number 8 lol, thanks for the help.

and it burnt to a cheap as chips tuffdisk 8.5gb 10 for £4.99 disk! after 2 verbatim coasters.
