Re: Hey Guys Burning errror....
first always always use abgx360 and i would never use the hotswap method its not reliable in my books. get a kreon drive use XBC and back it up from there. Then check it in abgx if you want. Also mulleter is obsolete so its best to use abgx360. As for that problem with ImgBurn, it looks like your layer break is messed up, are you sure you set it to "1913760"? And for the log saying waiting for the buffers to recover, try unplugging one of the DVD drives and burn from one of them. Also are you burning the discs at the recommended "supported" write speeds?

Re: Hey Guys Burning errror....
Yeah it is being burnt at 2x. I dnt think the layer break has a prob cuz i varified it before burning. I set it in image burn to 1913760 which is the required setting. I was thinking that it could be the 2nd burner as well, but i'll have to probe some more. I found out wat i was doing wrong in regards to ripping it. I reconfirmed the process on a tut i saw on this website, ripped it again and it doesn't give any errors, and abgx360 is actually patching it as i type.
I'll keep u guys posted, as i go throughout the steps.
Thx

You should only patch your games if your unsure of your process. The stealth files created by your ripping process can be unique to your disc. ABGX is NOT a cure all and should be used to as a reference. Also you don't have to set the layer break if you have a good .dvd file. It should look something like this.
LayerBreak=1913760
Game.iso
Just open up any text editor (ie: WordPad, Notepad) insert these lines, replace game.iso with the actuall name of your iso and save as Game.iso where game is the EXACT name of your iso.

i dont think so
i have 2 or 3 burneers in all my pc
guys you need to keep in mind that when you dump a game by "hotswap" there is NO stealth in the iso at all.technoe wrote:You should only patch your games if your unsure of your process. The stealth files created by your ripping process can be unique to your disc.
you have to use a program like abgx360 to put the stealth files in.

Problem Solve guys.....
My IDE settings had changed from DMA (Direct Memory Access) to PIO (Program Input Output). When its in PIO its safer for ur computer to function however it drastically lowers the speed of the system resulting in the errors shown above. If your pc has 2 or more hard drives and your trying to copy files from one to the other and its moving very slow eg. a 4GB file and its taking 45 mins to copy this could be a victim for PIO. In order to fix this issue one should go into device manager and uninstall the IDE/API controller settings not the "Channels" after uninstalling the system will prompt to restart computer system. Upon restart the settings will automatically default itself to DMA.
What Cofree said is correct, when one does a hotswap the iso is totally useless, meaning it can't be use as is in ur xbox 360. The reason y i was getting the error in abgx360 saying that the game does not have the correct size and data was stealth however the CRC Game data was not, is due to the ripping process i used. Originally when I was using using wxripper i would load the movie stop the drive spin, emergency eject the tray, put the game dvd in, shut the tray, spin drive again, get magic number, change the 3rd line letter C to D save file and reload it in wxripper and dump iso. That process is Wrong. Refer to here for correct procedure http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... =110&t=153" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
So basically that was the prob, in regards to the iso issue. That's been cleared up now, ripped a copy of my COD 5, PURE and Sega Superstar Tennis today and all have been patched succesfully and burn using imgburn without the error message from before. Oh XDVDMulleter is not so reliable in patching the iso files, its best to use abgx360, what i normally do tho is load the iso first in XDVDMulleter then go thru the normal process to stealth it, it will not but it will start the process, then I take it over into Abgx360 for the final patching. After that i bring it back into XDVD MUlleter load iso again a check if all the required check boxes are check including the ixtreme 1.5 and the success rate has been 100% so far.
Thx

Re: Hey Guys Burning errror....
glad you found your problem i found a thread on another site with someone having same problem and it was because both burners shared the same IDE channel

Re: Hey Guys Burning errror....
Thats a good thought to consider as well. I'll keep you'll posted if the problem returns, but for right now it's going ok.
