Bricked Liteon

I was flashing my liteon with Dosflash,i got the 4 files and i saved them then i erased the drive but when i was doing Firmtools,i accidentally reseted my PC, now the drive tray is half opened and nothing is working,i turned the CK3 on and it just freezes my PC.

is there anyway to put the firmware into the 360 drive even though it is doing absolutely nothing?

I have the dvd key for it cause i saved it before erasing it.

well once the drive flash chip has been erased there is more to it than that.

ok man
you have to do a recover.it will take some time but as long as you have the files (dummy.bin) you should be fine.

Ok,i seen the video over and over but i have a few questions.

I am using iprep v9 and the part where it says to delete everything not involved with Dos,i dont know what items to delete,then on my ixtreme 1.5.1 folder,i have NO Dos items in there,just the ixtreme 1.5.1.

What do i do?

do this with iprep 6.2

then you will need a copy of the v1.5 ixtreme (xbin old folder ) it has a dos folder in it.
after you have the iprep 6.2 you will be able to go right by the video and delete what i say.

Good Grief!

I am on iprep and where it says load firmware,i load the firmware with samsung or benq firmware and it says no valid firmware loaded.

what am i doing wrong?

EDIT: Ok,i accomplished getting the drive to work again using iprep v9 (v6 wasnt working for me for some reason but now it wont flash,every game i put in shows as a DVD,i used Dosflash to read the key and then erase it but after i write the firmware and then test it out,every game comes as a DVD,is the drive supposed to be disabled on Device Manager cause all my drives are disabled cause of Dosflash 32...

What do i do?

I flashed 2 360s of mine using Dosflash and Firmtools before and now nothing is working...

your dvd drive does not have a key in it.
you somehow got a firmware flashed in but it dont have a key

you have to do the rcover before it will work

on the iprep v6.2 you will need to load a old firmware like v1.2 ixtreme or something
the def file is not up to date

you have to do it the way the video does
quite farting around before you mess it up man.

This is my scenario Cofree,

I flashed the systems before successfully (early last month) i did it by using iprep to see my port,i used Dosflash to read the key and then erase the drive and then used Firmtool to write the new firmware but then 2 days ago i received a PAL system which was reading disks when i received it and did the same method,it said the flash was successful but when i plugged it up,it read my games as DVDs.

I then tried it again and then got the same result then i used another machine that i have which i flashed myself and did the same method and it still want working,i am asking myself why the same method i used before isnt working now?

I used iprep doing the SAME exact steps from the video and it says the flash was successful but it reads my games as dvds,the PAL drive that i was trying to save yesterday after erasing then my PC reset didnt work with iprep v6 but worked with v9 and now the key reads as AA55AA55AA55AA55AA55 but i still have the original key.

I just dont understand how a method i used successfully before doesnt work now...

Wait, you said this was a PAL system? Make sure you are running either region free games or PAL games to test it with. IF you haven't already. You may be getting nervous for no reason.
