restore a hiatachi

trying to restore a hit that i had spoofed as a samsung got windows to see it and giveit a drive letter open the xtreeme file press the restore batch it starts doing the job but after a while i get message something not right (1) drive not recongnized in windows (2)shut down all background programs (3) windows is in compatable try safe mode (4) your dvd drive is not a working version ihave been using the drive in my console i just want to restore so i can update the firmware to 151 any ideas or help thanks

thanks for reply but since i tried the bat file way the drive seems dead cant do anything with it cant eject cant get it seen in windows is it bricked or is there a way to fix and start again thanks

You can try the hotswap method, i've never done it, so cant guide you, but you will need an other working hitachi drive.

As you long as you still have a good key, and the ofw for your drive, you can still get it to flash. JungleFlasher is pretty good at restores. But if that fails you too, then I'd say the 360FW toolbox 4.8.
