what's the worst 360 you ever opened up?

i opened up a 360 the other day and it was flooded with dust and weed smoke. weed smoke people. . . lol! you would think it was an ash tray, the fans were clogged with it, the heat sinks were clogged with it, the samsung drive was clogged with it. i opened the drive up and it was yellow on the inside. felt like i was performing lung cancer surgery on the poor xbox. lol! the original reason i was looking at it was because the user said it didn't read games. im like son, this joint got weed in it. that might be the reason. . . smh! it was crazy. i cleaned it up the best i could and flashed it. them sammys are tough.

The worst one I opened was the easiest. Someone had tried to take apart and broke all of the tabs including the friction tabs in the back so it kind of fell apart. But I had to tape it back together.

Thats too funny! I just got one yesterday- the guy told me that it wasnt reading any games so he and his friend tried to fix it... They broke the plug on the actual drive board where the power plugs into( the drive board). to make a long story short. he gave me the plug (traces still attached) and I went to work. I ended up soldering the plug to the opposite side of the drive board, extracted the key, and flashed a new drive. it wasnt pretty but it worked! The life of a repair man

I was opening a 360 for flashing and no matter how hard i tried to unclip the last tab at the back it would not give

After about 3 hours of mangling the plastic I just ripped the case off

Cleaned the caked heat sink, flashed it, reassembled

yea, ey now and then them 360 cases act up when trying to open em, but not for no 3 hours though. . .lol! thats crazy!!!

A guy just brought me one with the RROD that started immediately. He apparently couldn't figure out how to flash the drive because he plugged the power cable in upside down inside the 360 which was causing the 360. Thank god M$ was smart enough to put in a power safety valve.
