Re Flashing BENQ vad6038 drive

Post by commando_lee »

I flashed a Benq Drive just b4 xmas last year with ixtreme 1.4. using IPREP. If i understand it right the new games that will be coming out uses something like wave3???

What i need to know- Is the process of flashing the drive with the new firmware the same as if it had not been flashed before?

If so which is best version of IPREP is the best to use?

Would be greatfull for as much info as possible

Thanks

use RHPG iprep v009
http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... f=112&t=48" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
then just flash it like it was stock.
http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... 195&t=5129" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
dump
let firtool run
then flash
remember to make sure you have a backup of the orig firmware or the dvd drive key at the very least

Yeah the version above supports the new 1.51. Alternatively if you already have a previous dump you could make your firmware in jungleflasher then rename it to bencfw.bin, put it in the backup/1234567/12345 folder and go straight to the fben command.

i think its better to stick with one program
unless you have problems. ;)
