Fallout 3 bad kreon SS

Ok i ripped it twice and even extcating the SS.bin directly from disc with XBC

kreonchecker.exe keppes giving me a bad SS.bin rip. im afraid to burn what should i do I kepp extracting the SS with XBC and yea

Did it check out ok with XBC? Have you tried checking it with ABGX? I've never used the kreon checker, I always check my games with XBC, ABGX, and Schtrom360.

I ripped the game with XBC, then checked with AGBX it gave me the S.S. warning so i decided to rip the S.S from the disk and patch it in. It still gave me the error. So i went to the progrmas and downloads and downloaded the Kreon checker.rar all you do is load the S.S.bin and it checks it. It keeps giving bad rip, I extracted from both DVD and ISO and i get the same warning.

I think that this kreon bug happens when your cables are loose or your laser is wearing out. Im probebly going to reflash mine (i already have V1) and see what happens. Please HELP i need this done soon

It's either the drive or the program, have you tried using the kreon checker on other iso's or dvds today?

I honestly dont need to because AGBX gives me good reads. Is anyone else having this problem?

OK heres some news.


I turned off my computer, unplugged the IDE cables from my drive (i have the D)

then plugged them back in FIRMLY AND HARD equally on both sides.

I turned XP back on and went to XBC extracted the SS and checked it, it came out good.


I actually have a bad SS for hawx and didn't realize it but AGBX might of fixed it, (i never had problems)


So simple solution unplug and plug back in and try again. So problem (temporarily solved ~~ Maybe permanently)

i have had to pull the ss from the disc 5 or 6 time before i would get a good angle from the ss.
that has only happened once or twice.
then i just use abgx360 to put the good ss in the iso

i know the power that be say it dont matter but
i dont play a iso with a bad angle in the ss

ok thanks cofreee im going to recheck the disk and I heard by some computer techee in my 'hood, who has a flash 360 that it is possible to modify a already written disk's S.S. using the same concept of adding more and more picture to a CD-R even if the lead-out is written.


If anything ill re rip it or burn a patched S.S.

as far as i know he is nuts
you can not add a new ss to a burned DL disc
you will have to fix the ss in the iso then reburn.

Is there a tutorial on what you guys are talking about? I think I'm having the same trouble with H.A.W.X. I used abgx360 and ss checker and I have about $4.00 worth of coasters now. I understand s.s. just enough to get me in trouble. Thanks

its hard to do man
you dont get many bad angle ss
abgx360 will tell you if it has a bad angle.

ill try to work up something the next one i get
