Dosflash hang up while flashing liteon

Post by bdgibson4 »

Hey guys I had the problem of my PC locking up after the erase on my liteon. I followed Cofree's tut on how to recover in dos but when I type the "dosflash" cmd it will not show my drives. It loads until it reads:

" Dosflash V1.7 Beta Build 20081214 Gerenia, Modfreakz and Kai Schtrom"

I have tried multiple versions and from both floppy and usb boot. I always get the intro line similar to above (different with different versions obviously) but it never gives me a list of drives.

Everything else went fine with the boot disk/usb. I get the correct FF72 return from the l-o-eras cmd and I do have the firmware with the key injected ready to flash.

Any ideas?

man
i dont know what it could be
did you give it time to index the drives
it may take a min or so.

leave one ide drive hook up in your pc when you do the dosflash command, and it should see it
if it dont there is something wrong some where
make sure to only have the one sata drive hooked up
the 360 dvd drive should be the only sata hooked up
i just cant see where.

is your drive locked? will it respond to the eject command?

if not as long that you have the 4 bin files you can recover your drive
