Iprep / JF ~sammy m28 problem~

I have a samsung m28. When i try to run jungle flasher with PortIO32 installed it just locks up. With PortIO32 not installed it loads up. With Iprep, when you power cycle when your supposed to it only read 0xD1 and 0x80 i beleve. and continues to sit there. ive tryed different power cycle times, different sata ports. I watched Cofrees' video on youtube and did exactly like that. Do i need to buy one of those Via sata cards? I have an Intel MoBo with Intel® Q35 Express Chipset. http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/m ... erview.htm Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

with iprep the samsung drive should be hooked up on a via6421a or l chipset
like this one.

ok so im buying this sata card as we speek.
can i use this card for flashing other drives too? or will it be a samsung, one time use thing....
im not really that worried about it. but just curious if i can use it for flashing other drives or will my MoBo chipset be fine for the others

The VIA card can be used to flash all drives. Thats what I use to flash the drives that I run across.

You really should have started your own thread to ask your question, thats called hi-jacking. But we'll try and help you out what we can though.

Your new drive is a samsung, what was your old drive? Is it the same as the old drive?
