If it doesn't work the first time try to tighten the screws down more and overheat the xbox again I just did this and it worked the 3rd time I had to overheat the xbox. Some 360's are very stubborn I hope I am not to late in this response

No you are not too late. I'll give it a try. I saw a motherboard on ebay for sixty bucks. I might try that rout if it still won't work. The problem is getting money off my cousin. Thinks everything is free, then he even hinted around that he didn't get the rrod until after I modded it for him. Whata putz

Hey if you get a mobo off of ebay or any where for that matter make sure you have the key to that board or it'll be useless.
