need help with new usb xtractor and dongle

Im totally confused right now, is this stuff used to mod a lite on drive? Or just to mod it and spoof it as another drive for an older xbox, I just bought a brand new 360 and this xtractor and dongle, totally confused on how to mod my lite on drive.

By the way did i buy the wrong stuff to mod my drive, or is this the right stuff.

I've never used the Xtractor/dongle. I've only ever used the CK3 and probe, so I'm not sure on that stuff, maybe one of the other guys can help you. Just give them a little bit to get to your post.

Thanks, i should have just bought the ck3 and probe. I have the key read off my drive im just stuck after that.

If you've read the key, you should have a few other files to go along with that. Like the dummy.bin, identity.bin and another file. Basically the job with the dongle or spear is done. You need to load that dummy.bin as the source in jungleflasher, load ixtreme 1.51 or wait a little while till 1.6 comes out later today and load that as the target. Click spoof source to target, save the CFW. Then go to the MTKflash tab, click lite-on erase, click yes, click yes again, power cycle the drive very quickly and only once. You should first get a 0x00 status and then a 0x72 status. Then click write. It should then flash the firmware into the drive.

If you didn't get the dummy.bin and other files, start all over with jungleflasher. There are videos in the tutorial section on flashing the lite-on and it's supposed to work the same with the xtractor as it is the CK3.
