Need help. benq not showing up in XBCr

I have my benq showing using the 1/2 open tray method dale suggested. Now now matter what original game i insert. The compacity is set to 4tb. Resetting XBCr didnt fix it. Actually when i close that down i have to do the tray trick again for my benq to show again. kinda annoying. When i press unlock drive. It says its unlocked already and 4tb. I am unable to check anything on the read tab.

Did you try schtrom?? If so is it giving you the same errors? As said before it may also be down to the chipset drivers you're using.

Yeah I tryed that. It got to about 3% and started to extract the game partition i get "Error After SEctor Reading" I have sata card witht the via 6421a or whatever it suppose to be. I've tryed all those differnt ports also. It's odd it doesnt even reconize the game size. I tryed to do a bioshock backup rather then cod4 still same size.

Its down to the via drivers you have. Try the 5.2 or 5.3's and try again and it should work spot-on.

5.2 or 5.3? what are those. It's odd how i can flash fine but cant get to work out for me.

Via drivers for your sata card. Google for 5.2c ones and try them.

the 5.3c drivers enabled the read tab. it just show 5.xx mb and when i do the unlock nothing happens. the program you told me to use still shows the same errors.

On all originals discs? Have you got a spare sata lead you can try?

Nah it'll be something simple. Try again with the 5.2 instead of the 5.3 drivers then start threatening it with a bat..

One of these days it will work. I might have to go Office Space's FAx Machine on it if it doesn't. lol

Dale, Thanks alot for helping. Im giving up for now. the 5.2c didnt seem to work. is there a specific 5.2c i need? I used

Nope they're the ones. Can't think of anything else it would be barring a driver problem. Probably work next time you turn it on. lol
