Basically everytime i power on the ck my pc totally locks up and i have to turn it off at the mains:(
Also, i have noticed that. even if i installed the PORT IO 32 drivers, every time i reboot i always get a message saying "Found new hardware" referring to the SATA card(which i purchased and fitted for the purpose of flashing a drive) and there was no SATA port in the first place so i didnt have to delete any files from system 32 nor did install the manufactures drivers.
If any one could help me out this would be GREATLY appreciated, i just dont understand why it locks up completely. Even if i turn the CK off the pc still remains in a frozen state..

What i found to give me the freeze problem while turing on the ck3 was having my virtual drives on..Meaning Daemon tools,for some reason that cause conflicts so i unstialled the sucker and i get no freeze anymore..Oh by the way i just did a clean reformat just to be sure nothing eles was conflicting with it..
I'am runing winxp sp3 after a clean format..Hope this helps..

Hey guys i got it sorted, at 3.30 am GMT haha
It was crashing and freezing and being really slow, so i disconnected my DVD Drive, then it didnt crash. Although it was still being very slow, may be down to my processor and generally oldish pc. But gradually after a few reboots it kinda sorted its self out with abit of lag.
Caution though: first time i flashed it Jungle Flasher froze when it was writing, half way through bank 1..
Luckily id saved all the files eg key.bin, inquiry.bin, identify.bin, and dummy.bin and the spoofed firmware with my original key it and i was able to erase and re flash.
Follow these steps:
Power off pc and drive via the CK tool.
Reboot, drive still powered off, DOUBLE. TRIPLE AND QUADRUPLE CHECK Windows/System32/Drivers for a viamraid file! if so rename or back it up on a usb drive and then delete it.
Reinstall the PortIO 32 driver. And then go to mycomputer-properties-hardwaretab-device manager and check the via card has a yellow !(to check if the drivers are not installed at all)
Turn on the drive, wait a few seconds then open JF.
navigate to the MTKflash tab, choose the right port and your drive shouldnt be listed.
Make sure the drive is still half closed.
as long as your sure its the right port, Choose the Lite-On Erase button and make sure you drive is on and connectedaccept the prompts and it should bring up one sentence saying sending Lite-On erase, after it should say sending vedor intro
when the dots appear on the second sentence saying sending intro turn on n off in one second or less!!
Check for your drive info, if not click intro/device. If you do not get a good info. (you should know what to expect) i dont know what to do. Sorrry?!
Get the hacked firmware Lite_CFW and open it in the target firmware in the Firmwaretool tab.
Make sure the key is good, eg not 00000000000000000.
Go back to the MTKflash tab. CROSS EVERYTHING IN YOUR BODY AND PRAY!
HIT WRITE! IF IT WORKS... let it finish and verify then shut off and on your drive and try the ejecy button!
and your done.... Hope this helps
