GETTING ERROR with hacking liteon with iprep

sorry to write you straight though but this is what its saying when i try to hack the liteon with iprep.

what are you using to flash the drive? connectivity kit? via vard? probe?

im using a Connectivity Kit 3 Pro with ck3 probe

i saw your other post, you need the rs232 cable, that's what the key and all that other information gets dumped through. . . so you won't get those things without it.

also, try to keep all your questions relating to the same subject in one post

ok...i dont have a rs232 cable but i connected the ck3 connector to my on board com port...just took off the screwss and connected it together...whats is a rs232 cable for? i just order one and a pci express rs232 com port 1

So whats wrong now? NOTE: i followed all the steps..that include all the stuff cofree had in his video...ALL..

you need a few things to flash a lite0on dvd drive with iprep

a via 6421a or l pci sata card
a 9 pin com cable(rs232) not a null cable
and a com port on the back of your pc.
you can get it to work with a pci com card but it is a trick to get the pci com card driver to work in dos.

you would hook the sata to the main port on the sata card
the com cable on the back of the pc
and you have to have the dvd drive powered up.
then you do it just like the video

give us the details on your setup and what you have done

the cable i got off ebays says 3 foot db9(serial 9 pin? extension cable rs232 is this a 9 pin com cable(rs232) not a null cable

ok it got the rrod about 1 year ago....the xbox was made in 2006 but the drive was made in 2008...and it has a liteon drive in it but in the error...it says mimic's a benq...could ms switch my drives
