Verbatim Question

Post by bmb1127 »

I apologize if this has been asked before but i couldn't seem to find an answer to this. I currently use verbatim dvd+r dl 2.4x 8.5gb discs and my buddy brought some verbatim dvd+r dl 8x discs by and we burned a few games on them but got disc read errors on the 8x but not the 2.4x discs. My question is if i'm burning all these games at 2.4x why would their be a difference. Also is there a specific brand and speed on the disc that is more succesful ? Thanks in advance to any help on this.

yea what he said, :D you dont want to buy the MII ones they are from India and cause a bunch of errors more frequently. Get the verbs and 2.4x or 8x discs dont matter but when u burn them burn em at 2.4x , you can't go wrong :)

FYI usually 8x is MIS. 2.4x is usually MII aswell. just a heads up if your buying online. Your best bet is to buy from a store where you can physically check the label, or ebay (where the disks may be labeled, or you can message the seller).
