yes it is a dedicated firmware for dumping games via your pc not intended for a 360 console

You can either upgrade to 1.51 or 1.6 same realy but

with ixtreme 1.6 you can dump games with it just have to boot computer with drive tray half open. But the 0800 fw is just for a dedicated drive for your pc

iXtreme 1.6 also has some updated security features but I frankly wouldn't concern myself with it until M$ finds a way around 1.51.

Well first you're hijacking this thread it's kind of rude. Second either firmware will let you play backups. If it's the first time your flashing that drive I would use iXtreme 1.6
