I use JF for all drives except Lite-ons. I've had a lot of problems with lite-ons in JF so I tend to use iPrep a lot. Out of about 10 lite-ons all but 2 times has my PC frozen after the lite-on erase even after disabling my drivers. Weird I know. But it really comes down to what you like to use.

I use JF for all drives, but I do use iprep as well. But if what you want to know is what programs work for which drives, here are some of the main programs and which drives they are compatible with.

1. Firmware Toolbox - allows you to work with any firmware, but will only dump and flash hitachi drives.
2. iprep - Doesn't allow you to work directly with the firmware, allows you to dump and flash Samsung, Benq and Lite-on
3. Jungleflasher - Allows you to work with any firmware and allows you to dump and flash all drives (if your computer will do it)
