I got it now, is the tri wing screw driver same size or are there diff ones

If you get them from the site that you buy your chip from, it will be the right size. They are fairly small. I bought mine off ebay. But that was before the chip sites started selling them too.

for future reference will this chip work on any wii and any region??

Should work on any region, will work on any drive except for the new D3-2 drive. Thats the latest as of today.
