NOOB in need of HELP!!!!!!

NOOB in need of HELP!!!!!!
Why does my computer restart when i turn off and on my ck3 pro,thats connected to my benq?I dont even have the sata wire connected to my benq when i turn it off and on.(I have my VIA 6421 drivers installed,I have portio32 drivers installed,using jungleflasher)The only thing thats connected in my computer is my harddrive.(I disconnected my cd burner and floppy drive)

i dont see why your computer would be turning off, if anything it should freeze

or it could be that you have a weak power supply and everytime you turn on the ck3 pro it drains to much power..that why its best to get a molex power source other then using the computer...or buy a better power supply..

It was freezing when i had my cd burner and floppy disk connected(turning on and off the ck3 pro).I disconnected them and now my computer restarts when i turn on and off my ck3 pro.grandview wrote:i dont see why your computer would be turning off, if anything it should freeze

Same happened to me, as Grandview said it will probably be down to your power pack. Solved it by using an old ATX power supply i had lying around (you need to bridge the adjacent green and black wires to get it to power on) hooked up to the ck3 and it's sorted.

THANX!!!!!!!Grandview you are right it is my power supply.I hooked it up to a new computer with a better power supply and it didnt freeze or reset. GOOD LOOKING OUT GUYS
I will definetly be help out on this website.
