Samsung ms25 flashing problem..

I flashed a ms25 samsung drive. but when it asked to spoof to m25 i said no. now the drive comes up as am28 drive. i went along and flashed the drive but it wont play any games.I got an e66 error. how do I flash it again in iprep 009. yes I made fw backups.Im almost positive I backed up the original fw..if not can I use the original fw from when I backed it up during the 1.4 ixtreme upgrade?

Just reflash and use the same key as before and when it ask you if you want to spoof it as a ms25 click yes and you should be good.

I copied the entire usb stick over again and just went tofsam but it erased and wrote the banks.it didnt ask me for the spoof. did i do something wrong?

like I said i ran it again and got the same error. one red lights blinking and black screen. now what? is it possible that I didnt copy the after the dump? and it was copied after the entire process.I more than positive Icopied it in the middle of the process. I dont know Im a bit confused now. I do have the ofw from when I upgraded to 1.4 ixtreme. can I just use that ofw and copy the key from that time and try it?

I plugged the ofw in jungle flasher to see if its the ofw firmware this is what i got. dvd key @ 04116 82DD4326D1A5FF20BED18B8EEE53D6B1

Is that the "new" OFW or your original OFW from you're first attempt. I always try to spoof the sammys as what they really are, if you're putting a ms25 in a ms28 system I spoof it to be a ms28 and vice versa. If what you checked is your latest OFW attempt then I'm going to say sorry about your luck bud, you now have a super heavy dvd player. But in the meantime I'd definitely be looking for that original key. If the OFW you checked is from you're first attempt then you may still be able to save it. If that key comes out as you say like a ms25 then you should be able to build the custom firmware and I would even use JF 1.62 to flash with mainly becasue with Samsungs there's no need to mess with any via settings or drivers.

how do I know if the OF is the one from my original flash..also how would I use the OF from when I flashed it to 1.4 the first O initial time. I have a ms 25 and it is reading as a ms28 when I reflash it. Also how do u use julgle flasher 1.62 I have only used iprep 009.and older iprep versions.

Well if kept both files from both flashes you should be able to load them in the Firmtool32 Tab of JF and check each at the same time to see if they share the same key. If not then it'll be up to you and a little bit of trial and error getting the right key in your system. JF is very easy especially for Sammys. Here's a good guide for JF.

ok I have the original 1.4 ofw. I would like to try one more time in iprep. do I reformat a usb drive then copy the backup folder and replace the ofw and cfw.bin files and reflash?
