ABGX downloading

Post by louisM92 »

I heard that i shouldn't let abgx download anything when checking a back up, something to do with everyone having the same files in theyre games and that will make it easier for microsoft to find people with a modded console or something like that.

Is this true?

Well its a public program and the files are available to anyone. Its likely M$ checks those files, and may ban if you use any of those files. It has not been proven, but it is likely Microsoft checks those files...

As always you should be making backups from your physical disk, therefore you should not need files to be patched.

Here's a perfect example of why you should only backup your own games instead of downloading iso's and letting abgx patch viewtopic.php?f=117&t=6151" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
