I know this should be a simple fix!

JF should recognize it w/o being in mode b. Try disabling your via card drivers, are you sure portio is installed correctly? Kind of a dumb question, but your hooked to your via 6421 and not straight to your mobo right?

Hey HaGGardSmurf(Under HitachiGDR3120 tab)It does recognize my hitachi-59 on the upper left side in the port properties box,but not in the drive box on the upper right side.

something you are doing wrong then...dont use the via set try using if you have one..the onboard sata...

I dont have onboard sata on my MB.I only have VIA 6421 sata card.(Iam using xbox360 for power source,should i use ck3 instead?)When I ckick on send modeB,I open tray then click OK.(Am i missing a step when trying to put it in modeB?)Then after that it says it cant find the drive.The weird thing about this is that it is recognized in the port properties box.It had 1.4 than i put it back to stock than after that it went downhill after that.During the whole prossese my hitachi drive was never assaigned a drive letter but it put it back to stock.(played origanial game to see if it was back to stock)
