Hei guys. a friend of mine has a xbox that does not read games.

The drive still reads music cds and movies in dvds.

what could it be? the firmware or the lenses?

what does it show on the screen when you have a game in?? "attempting to read media?"

if so very good chance the lense

it lookes like there is no dvd inside. but the game is in there.

i tried many games. none worked

i would say the lense has gone, i could be wrong, do you have another drive you can test in it?
