Figured out how to flash lite-on with laptop
Well basically my computer froze up when I connected any drive to it and tried to flash it with JF. So I deleted the viamraid.sys file and now i can have the drive connected and it doesn't freeze. But now JungleFlasher doesn't allow me to select my SATA cards ports because the driver isnt installed im guessing. I try checking off VIA Ports only but it says no VIA Ports found. So I have the drive connected and I'm not freezing but I can't be detected either, any help ?

Re: Compter no longer freezes but drive isnt detected now
Edit: I was able to get the ports to pop up in Jungle Flasher, but now the drive isn't detected in any of them.
Edit Again: By turning off my connectivity kit, taking out the sata cable, re-inserting sata cable and turning the connectivity kit back on I was able to detect the drive. But once I change my port and go back to the port that my drive was detected on, it once again becomes undetected.
Edit v3: I was able to successfully keep the drive detected. I then read the dummy from iXtreme, it created my identify, key, inquiry, and dummy. Which I then spoofed over to my 1.6 firmware. But I have not tried to erase+write the new firmware.
Keep in mind this is an A0A1 Lite-on that I am doing with my laptop. I think I have figured out how to flash Lite-ons with a laptop. Only drive left to conquer is Hitachi. Will keep informed.

Make sure you have portIO32 installed. This is how JF works if the via driver is disabled.
