You just have to restore the drive first, then flash as normal.

You can't flash a Hitachi with iXtreme 1.6.
The latest version of iXtreme that's compatible with Hitachis at this time is v1.51.

Hitachi's is always the last to get updated. Seems that team JF and C4E don't like hitachi's very well.

Think it might have to do with how many revisions of the hitachi's there are. Can't be many of these drives still kicking. Mind i have a 78 round here somewhere which was still going strong the last time i checked.

I was hoping there were none of those Hitachi drives still around.
I got like...10 of 'em in in the past month out of like...40 mods.

I got a couple of 47s, a couple of 59s and few 78s and a couple of 79s!
They are a big pain in the butt to me.
I hate seeing the errors in Jungle Flasher and sometimes I just go 'old school' to restore and flash them in Windows.

I know that some people that hate to see Lite-Ons when they mod. I have no problems with Lite-Ons.
I hate seeing Hitachis. Can't wait for them to all die, LOL!!!!

well i dont understand if there wasnt a update for the hitachi to 1.6,then why did TECHNOE tell me to restore it...

Most likely he just forgot that 1.6 is not out yet for the Hitatchi drives.

Anytime you flash a hitachi for any reason, it needs to be restored before flashing. Thats why he said that.
